Live within your means. If you are earning 1.5k, can you afford to have 2 kids? You should not expect to eat abalone but you won't starve either. Work harder and upgrade your skills like the many successful people who have risen from even more humble beginnings.

If you want to be dogmatic about it, then you should propose redistributive policies.

For example, raise Income Tax to 100% of income after your income exceeds $5,000 a month. All the tax collected give to the families earning $1,500/month so they can eat abalone. Extreme example just to make the point.

Well, they are not complaining about a MNC's CEO who is enjoying his/her bonuses from the profit . Usually a CEO gets a bonus based on performance and the profit to their stakeholders.

They are complaining about Ministers who are selected to run the country for the benefit of the country. Usually ministers have to act like role models for their citizens and if they want a public life, it will be open to scrutiny, especially if they want to be paid like a CEO without transparent accountability to the stakeholders.
